Extransensory Perception

I love information – this is one of the reasons why mediumship and psychic ability enthuse me. Our innate ability to access information through extra sensory perception is fascinating. Last night, I read “extra sensory perception” by JB Rhine. This book was published in 1969 and is described by Professor William McDougall as “the first fruit of the policy of naturalization of ‘psychical research’ within the universities.”

JB Rhine stated that “it gradually became more and more evident that ESP was fundamentally different from the sensory processes, lacking a sense organ, apparently independent of recognized energy forms, non-radiative, but projectory, cognitive but un-analyzable into sensory components – all quite non-sensory characteristics.”

Academic research about extra sensory perception is definitely an area that I plan to investigate in much more detail. I am convinced that science will prove not only the continued existence of the human soul, but our potential to tune into each other and the future through our psychic ability.

The acceleration of our communication and capacity to absorb information also indicates our potential to fully embrace ESP. A newspaper now contains more information than our ancestors in the 18th century would have absorbed in their lifetimes. We are living in an era characterized by exponential increases in technology, speed and discovery – JB Rhine’s work on extra sensory perception was just the beginning.

There are many documented cases of extra sensory perception, particularly on the use of psychics in intelligence services. I recently found some really interesting information on Wikipedia: “A survey of the beliefs of the general United States population regarding paranormal topics was conducted by The Gallup Organization in 2005. The survey found that 41 percent of those polled believed in extrasensory perception and 26 percent believed in clairvoyance. 31 percent of those surveyed indicated that they believe in telepathy or psychic communication.” These statistics show that times are changing – we are ready to embrace ESP.
